About "last updated": each row reflects the newest timestamp actually recorded against that dataset's own rows (an update, scrape or creation timestamp, whichever the underlying table tracks) — not a claim about the current state of the upstream source. The italic line under each dataset name is how often its real upstream source actually changes; the red "stale" threshold is set per dataset to match that cadence (14 days for daily/weekly sources, longer for genuinely slower ones — e.g. AEC's political donation disclosures are published once a year, so that row isn't flagged until well past a year), rather than one flat rule implying everything should update daily.
This is a different view from the internal ETL job-run log: this page reports what the data itself shows, independent of whether the scheduled job that's supposed to produce it reported success.
